Battery binders and more for improved battery performance

IFF’s Industrial Solutions offers a portfolio of high-quality cellulosic polymers that can be used as binders and technology enablers in lithium-ion batteries (LiBs). For example, our TEXTURECEL™ polymers can be used as anode graphite binders. TEXTURECEL™ BA sodium carboxymethyl cellulose (sodium CMC) polymer grades have been specifically engineered to eliminate gel particles, optimize anode quality and improve battery performance.

 

We also bring solutions for solid-state batteries (SSBs) too. Our POLYOX™ resin family is at the forefront of technology development in SSBs, delivering functions such as ionic conductivity and rheology control.
